Welcome back to my blog today, I hope that you are keeping well and as things have opened up a little this week that there is a little more positivity around. I haven’t really done anything different than last week but I feel that we may get to have garden guests in the not so distant future so I’ve made a couple of mini gift bags.
We have all the ‘P’s’ today as we bid a fond farewell to Pretty Peacock and Purple Posy which will both retire soon. To show them off I’ve gone for a clean and simple design and used a sentiment from a stamp set that’s also retiring Butterfly Gala.
Wow that title is a bit of a tongue twister. We made these flowerpots via zoom with a bunch of children during lockdown last month with me demonstrating, giving directions and waving my project in front of the camera. I think everyone managed to produce something that looked like a flowerpot. Their mum’s enjoyed them too as they were Mother’s Day gifts.
A friend had a special birthday the other week, her second one in lockdown so no doubt there is some catching up to do when all this is over. Although she has no pets of her own, she is an animal lover and regularly shares images/posts from others on social media of their missing pets. This suite is just up her street.
